Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead and participate in high-level technical initiatives bridging technology and business needs. In this role, you will be heavily focused on designing, configuring, and optimizing enterprise-scale Splunk environments. You will develop complex infrastructure systems, test solutions under Agile practices, implement cloud security configurations, and manage daily risk and operational standards. Your efforts will drive automation, optimize data ingestion, and build robust monitoring strategies that minimize system recovery times and proactively prevent architectural bottlenecks.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience (or equivalent combination of education and training).
• Strong hands-on experience in Splunk Server Administration, infrastructure cluster management, and onboarding complex datasets.
• Expert understanding of Common Information Model (CIM), Field Normalization, tags, eventtypes, and macros, with a proven ability to evaluate and fix data quality anomalies.
• Deep proficiency in creating efficient, high-performance/low-impact Splunk searches, alerts, reports, and custom advanced XML dashboards using Regular Expressions (RegEx).
• Comfort working inside the Linux CLI and writing automation logic with Shell scripting.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to navigate tight deadlines and work proactively across cross-functional engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Python3, Google Cloud Logging, database security event monitoring, and Confluence technical documentation.
